On October 4th, Hurricane Matthew made landfall on southwestern Hati as a category 4 storm the strongest storm to hit the Caribbean in fifty years. Satellites from NASA and NOAA have been tracking and analyzing the powerful hurricane Matthew since its birth just east of the Leeward Islands. On October 5th there were multiple warnings and watches in effect from Cuba to the Bahamas to Florida. A hurricane warning was in effect for the Cuban provinces of Camaguey and north of the Flagler/Volusia county line to Fernandina Beach. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said "Matthew is moving northwest near 12mph, this motion is expected to continue during the next 24 to 48 hours". At 11 a.m. EDT, Hurricane Matthew was located 55 miles near Cabo Lucrecia, Cuba and about 105 miles south of Long Island, Bahamas.
I think that the Hurricane Matthew is a very dangerous event and very harmful to the cities that it did hit and hurt them physically and mentally by destroying their homes.
